Location: 2 miles north of Grove Oak in northeast Alabama.
Facilities: 36 modern campsites, primitive campsites, picnic area, group pavilion, comfort stations, camp store, snack bar, trails (hiking and bicycle trails and a 6-mile horseback trail), playground; boat launch nearby.
Activities: Camping, boating, fishing, hiking, horseback riding.
Special Features: Park lies in a secluded natural pocket of the Appalachian Mountain chain and its picnic area offers a canyon rim view into the pocket below.
