Buckskin Mountain State Park Location: On the Colorado River, 12 miles north of Parker, on AZ 95; the Park's River Island unit is 1 mile north of the park. Facilities: 68 campsites and 21 cabana sites, electric hookups, showers, restrooms, picnic areas, picnic shelters, restaurant, clothing boutique, campstore, hiking trails, boat ramp, boat rental, gas dock, visitor center, playground, basketball and volleyball courts, arcade (é); River Island has 37 camp sites, restroom and showers, group use area, beach, boat launch. Activities: Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, jet skiing, hiking, wildlife viewing. Special Features: Scenically located between the Buckskin Mountains and the Colorado River, the park attracts both nature lovers and water enthusiasts.
