Buczek, Marian
Born Sept. 26, 1896, in Nóżyn, Luków District; died Sept. 9, 1939. Active in the Polish Communist Party (PCP). Buczek was a mechanic. He joined the PCP in 1921. For 16 years he was kept in the prisons of bourgeois landlord-ruled Poland for revolutionary activity. On Sept. 1, 1939, he escaped and went to Warsaw to take part in the defense of the capital.
