i. An irregular oscillation of an aircraft caused at the moment of stall, at very high angles of attack, and in some subsonic aircraft when flying at very high Mach numbers caused by eddy formation and separation of boundary layer.
ii. The knocking about sustained by an aircraft surface when severe turbulence or gust conditions are encountered.
iii. As used in parachuting, it means longitudinal oscillations of the body during free fall caused by holding the arms too high and the legs too straight.
