Bunkin, Boris Vasil’evich
Born July 16, 1922, in the village of Aksin’ino, Moscow Oblast. Soviet physicist. Corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR since 1968; Hero of Socialist Labor (1967). Member of the CPSU since 1963. Bunkin worked at the Moscow Aviation Institute after graduating from it in 1947. He has been with the Moscow Engineering-Physics Institute since 1950.
