Burt Lake State Park Location: In Cheboygan County, on the southern end of Burt Lake, just south of the village of Indian River off I-75. Facilities: 306 modern campsites (é), mini-cabin (é), organization campground, trail (1 mile), picnic area and shelter @di), boat launch (é), playground, concession/store. Activities: Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, cross-country skiing, interpretive programs. Special Features: Located on the southeast corner of Burt Lake with 2,000 feet of sandy shoreline, the park offers excellent fishing for perch, pike, and walleye. The park is open from early April to early November.
