Bushuev, Konstantin Davydovich
Born May 10 (23), 1914, in the village of Cherten’, present-day Mosal’sk Raion, Kaluga Oblast. Soviet scientist and specialist in the field of mechanics and machine building; corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1960); Hero of Socialist Labor (1957). Became a member of the CPSU in 1941. In 1941, Bushuev graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute. In 1948 he became head of the planning bureau, and in 1954 he became deputy chief designer of the design bureau. Bushuev wrote basic works on questions of applied dynamics and strength. He was awarded the State Prize of the USSR (1951), the Lenin Prize (1960), two Orders of Lenin, and medals. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
