Busk 

(ancient name—Buzhsk or Bazhs’k), a city (since 1940); administrative center of Busk Raion, L’vov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Located on the Bug River 5 km from the Krasne railroad station on the Kiev-L’vov highway. Population, 6, 100 (1968). There are food-processing enterprises (a creamery and brewery) in Busk. Building materials are produced there. Busk has been known since 1097.
