LAHORE, October 11, 2009 (Frontier Star): Central leader of Muslim League-N and Member National Assembly, Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that time has proved that the apprehensions of Muslim League-N with regard to possible terrorism during bye-elections were not unfounded.
A meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the party was also held in this regard a week ago, in which contesting of bye-elections by Imran Khan was discussed and even voting was held by raising hands and majority gave vote against contesting of elections.
10 (ANI): Thursday saw a mixed voter turnout in bye-elections to 20 assembly seats in the three states of Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi.
