CHI

(Computer Human Interface) Typically refers to the devices and associated applications used by humans to interact with computers. For example, a CICS data entry screen displayed on a 3270 terminal makes up a CHI for a banking application. Speech recognition systems are another example. See user interface.

(language)CHI - A wide spectrum language, the forerunner of Refine.

Many CHI queries present ethical issues: CHIS has had questions from consumers who wanted to stop taking their medication (such as discontinuing antidepressants) or wanted to take higher doses of medication (such as a consumer being treated for schizophrenia believing that their medication level should be increased).
To consider these issues requires knowledge of the overall adolescent response fate and its various components, in this case, instead of reporting the overall adolescent response rate, the authors reported only the overall adult response rate of 38% and provided a reference for further information about CHIS sampling methods.
This will be welcome news to the many policy makers, researchers, health advocates, media and many others who rely on CHIS as the most comprehensive source of health information on Californians.
