Cachucha 

a Spanish (Andalusian) dance, performed in 3/8 time. It originated in southwestern Spain in the province ofCádiz. It is performed by men and women separately. One of itsbasic elements is the tapping out of the rhythm with the heelsand castanets. In the 19th century the cachucha was a Europeanstage dance.
