Cadwaladr or Cadwallader (both: kădwäl`ədər), d. 664?, semilegendary Welsh king, leader of the Celtic resistance against the Anglo-Saxons. Later bards made him a national hero, and Welsh tradition deems him the last Welsh king to wear the crown of Britain. How to thank TFD for its existence?
