Facilities: 177 campsites (122 camping pads with electrical hookups), modern restrooms, showers, vault toilets, picnic areas, swimming beach, food concession, 5 boat ramps, 5 docks, 2 fish cleaning stations, fish hatchery. Activities: Camping, boating (all types; 5 mph limit), fishing, swimming, hunting, self-guided tours of hatchery. Special Features: Located in the heart of the Sandhills, Calamus is Nebraska's newest major reservoir and the site of a state fish hatchery.
