Special Features:After winter and spring rains, this high-desert reserve is transformed into fields of golden poppies and other wildflowers. The wildflower season generally lasts from mid-March through mid-May, but the park is open year-round from sunrise to sunset. Visitors should be prepared for very high winds and should be aware of the high numbers of Mojave Green rattlesnakes in this area.
