Ophthalmic Reaction

(also conjunctival test), an immunologic test for certain infectious diseases of animals, including tuberculosis, glanders, and brucellosis. The test is suitable for diseases whose specific allergen, when introduced into the conjunctival sac, elicits an allergic response in the visible mucous membranes of the eye.
