Camèlinat, Zephyrenne 

Born Sept. 14, 1840, in Main la Ville; died Mar. 5, 1932, in Paris. Participant in the French labor movement; a leader of the Parisian federation of the First International. Worker in bronze.

Camélinat was director of the treasury during the Paris Commune of 1871. After the defeat of the Commune, he emigrated to Great Britain. He returned to France in 1880 after amnesty was declared. Camélinat participated in the socialist labor movement. From 1885 to 1889 he was a member of the Chamber of Deputies. In 1920 he became a member of the French Communist Party (FCP). In 1924, Camélinat was the presidential candidate of the FCP in the elections of the French Republic.
