Location: Off Rt 100 in Plymouth, on the east side of Echo Lake.
Facilities: Group camp (including 6 lean-tos), 4 cottages (with gas heat and bathroom), picnic shelters (one with kitchen), play area, hiking trails, swimming beach, concession, boat rentals.
Activities: Camping, boating, fishing, hunting, swimming, hiking, horseshoes, gold panning.
Special Features: Located along the banks of Buffalo Brook, once known as "Gold Brook," where gold was discovered in 1855. Mining operations continued for 30 years; today's park visitors still pan for gold.
