Campbell, Earl (Christian) (1955–  ) football player; born in Tyler, Tex. At the University of Texas, he was the 1977 Heisman Trophy winner after leading the nation in rushing and scoring. He was then the National Football League's leading rusher for three straight years (1978–80).
