Location: Off US 101, 10 miles west of Tillamook.
Facilities: Picnic area, restrooms, historic site, hiking trails, store.
Activities: Hiking, wildlife viewing, interpretive programs, whale watching.
Special Features: Viewpoint is situated on a headland 200 feet above the ocean, along Three Capes Scenic Route. Site provides an excellent view of the largest colony of nesting common murres on the continent. Other features include an 1890s lighthouse and a mile-long walking trail that winds through a stand of old-growth spruce trees (including the uniquely shaped Octopus Tree).
