(analytical chemistry) A highly efficient type of gas chromatography in which the gaseous sample passes through capillary tubes with internal diameters between 0.2 and 0.5 millimeter and lengths up to 100 meters, and adsorption takes place on a medium that is spread on the inner walls of these tubes.
