| Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for its Clinical Trial Application (CTA) to begin a clinical trial using intravenous administration of REOLYSIN(R) in combination with paclitaxel and carboplatin in patients with advanced cancers including melanoma, lung, and ovarian. This regimen was followed by a therapy switch to alemtuzumab with ifosfamid, carboplatin, and etoposide (March 2004), which led to a therapy-induced leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, and high fever >40[degrees]C by the end of March and the beginning of April 2004. This was a randomized open-label study of intravenous CA4P administered at 45 or 63 mg/m2 followed by paclitaxel and carboplatin in 13 patients. |
