Cash Fund 

(1) The cash balance of an enterprise (organization) for payments of wages, annuities, scholarships, and other disbursements, as well as for petty cash payments. In the USSR the amount of the cash balance and the procedure for cash disbursements are determined by the Regulation on Cash Operations of Enterprises, Institutions, and Organizations, which was approved by the Council of Ministers on Jan. 15, 1949.

(2) Bookkeeping accounts in which the movement of the cashfunds of an enterprise is reflected.
