Location:From I-25 at Castle Rock, east on Hwy 86 6miles to Franktown, then south on Hwy 83 (S Parker Rd) 5 miles to the park entrance.
Facilities:32 picnic sites, group picnic area, hiking trails (12 miles), bike trails (2.25 miles), horseback trail (1 mile), visitor/nature center, restrooms, (é).
Activities:Hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, bird watching, cross-country skiing, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Located in the Black Forest in central Colorado, the park's attractions include dramatic canyon walls and ruins of a century-old dam.
