Castor and Pollux (pŏl`əks), in classical mythology, twin heroes called the Dioscuri; Castor was the son of Leda Leda (lē`də), in Greek mythology, daughter of Thestios, king of Aetolia, and wife of Tyndareus, king of Sparta. .....
