Cedar Key Museum State Park Location: Off SR 24 on Museum Drive in Cedar Key. Facilities: Museum, nature trail. Special Features: Museum exhibits depict Cedar Key's colorful history as a port city and railroad connection during the 19th Century. The museum also houses a shell collection assembled by Saint Clair Whitman, founder of the first museum in Cedar Key. His house is located at the park and has been restored to reflect 1920s life.
