Cegléd (tsĕg`lād), city (1991 est. pop. 37,013), central Hungary. It is a road and rail hub and a trade center for agricultural products.
Cegléd 

a city in Hungary, in the megye (county) of Pest. Population, 38,000 (1976). Cegléd is a transportation junction. Industry includes the processing of agricultural products and the manufacture of agricultural machinery. The city is the center of a horticultural and viticultural region.
