HomeGroup
A Windows 7 feature that simplifies sharing files between Windows 7 machines on the network. Windows 7 Starter and Home Basic users can join a homegroup, but cannot create one. HomeGroup is for Win7 only, and XP and Vista machines cannot participate. However, HomeGroups and workgroups can co-exist on the same network (see workgroup-based network). See Windows 7 versions.
