Ceratitida
an order of extinct cephalopods of the superorder Ammonoidea. The mollusks lived from the Permian to the Triassic. There were approximately 400 genera, the majority of which existed during the Triassic. The order is therefore important in the stratigraphy of Triassic deposits. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
