Along with the Neblinichthys we collect a few silvery tetras in the family Characidae, which are somewhat the equivalent of North American minnows: silvery, small, and very difficult to identify correctly without a good microscope, a decent library, and lots of patience--definitely something to look at when we get back to the ROM.
