Cheaha Resort State Park Location: 12 miles south of I-20, off State Hwy 281 in northeast Alabama. Facilities: 73 modern campsites, primitive campsites, comfort stations, 15 family cottages (some pet-friendly), 30-room lodge, convention facilities, group lodge (32-person capacity), playground, trails, picnic area, group pavilions, restaurant, snack bar, camp store, gift shop (é). Special Features: The park is located atop Cheaha Mountain, the state's highest point at 2,407 feet, and is surrounded by Talladega National Forest.
