Cheder 

a pelotherapeutic health resort in the Tuva ASSR. Cheder is situated in the Tuva Basin, on Lake Cheder, 45 km from Kyzyl. Summers are moderately cool, with an average July temperature of approximately 14°C, and winters are cold, the January temperature ranging from – 27° to – 32°C. Patients are treated with the mud and brine of the lake for diseases of the musculoskeletal system, gynecological disorders, and diseases of the peripheral nervous system. Cheder has a sanatorium and a pelotherapeutic treatment facility.
