Chelif River

River, northern Algeria. Rising in the Atlas Mountains, it flows north and west into the Mediterranean Sea east of the city of Oran. At 450 mi (725 km) in length, it is Algeria's longest river, though it is mostly unnavigable and has an irregular flow.
