Born Jan. 20 (Feb. 1), 1871, in Kiev; died 1950. Russian anthropologist. Master of sciences (1913).

Chepurkovskii emigrated to the USA on the eve of World War II. His major works deal with the geographical distribution of anthropological features and the anthropology of the Russian people.
