Facilities:208 improved campsites, backpacking campsites, comfort stations, group camp, 15 cabins, 3 lodges, picnic areas, group shelters, playgrounds, trails, swimming pool, boathouse, 3 boat launches, boat rentals, fishing piers, restrooms, meeting room, concession area.
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, bicycling, backpacking.
Special Features:Park features rolling hills surrounding a 2,000-acre manmade lake stocked with bream, bass, and crappie. Louisiana State Arboretum (see separate entry) is located 1.5 miles from the park entrance.
