Chippokes Plantation State Park

Location: Take State Route 10 east to Route 634, then follow Route 634 to park entrance.
Facilities: 37 campsites (all with water and electric hookups, 1 @di), 3 cabins, 4 group camps, bathhouse (é), picnic area, picnic shelter, snack bar, hiking trail, bicycle trail (3.5 miles), auto tour route, swimming pool, visitor center, garden, museum.
Activities: Camping, fishing, swimming, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, guided tours (seasonal), interpretive programs, hunting (by reservation).
Special Features: A working farm for over 360 years, the park includes an antebellum mansion, gardens, and the Farm and Forestry Museum, with a collection of antique farm and forestry equipment. During the Christmas season, the mansion is decked in Victorian period decorations.
