PUPIL PULLS OUT ONE parent revealed he was so disillusioned at the education his son was getting at Christ the King
that he has found him a replacement school - over the border in Liverpool.
The correspondence from the Archdiocese of Liverpool's Director of Schools and Colleges Tim Warren states: " I can assure you the Archdiocese of Liverpool has no intention of washing its hands of children wanting faith-based secondary education in any part of the Archdiocese and even if the closure of Christ The King
goes ahead, we will ensure there will be alternative places available in good Catholic schools within reasonable travelling distance of the area you live in.

is also renowned for its annual football gala day, an event where over 100 grassroots football teams from the local region are invited to take part, with kids of all ages joining in.
