a milky fluid composed of lymph and emulsified fat globules, formed in the small intestine during digestion chyle [kīl] (physiology) Lymph containing emulsified fat, present in the lacteals of the intestine during digestion of ingested fats. Chyle the milk-white fluid contained in the lymphatic vessels of the mesentery of animals and man; the lymph enriched with fat droplets absorbed from the contents of the intestines. (SeeLYMPH.)
