3.5 GHz band

A newly designated frequency range in the U.S. As of April 2015, the FCC has not made an official ruling. Known as Citizens Broadband Radio Service, it allows 150 MHz of spectrum to be used in three tiers. Up to 50% would be set aside for General Authorized Access, open to the largest variety of users. The Priority Access License (PAL) would assign 10MHz to licensees for one year, and the Incumbent Access tier would include the federal government and satellite services already using this spectrum. See 2.4 GHz band, 5 GHz band and ISM band.
