Clamart (klämär`), suburb SW of Paris (1990 pop. 47,755), Hauts-de-Seine dept., N central France. There are pharmaceutical laboratories, a tobacco factory, and nurseries in the town. Fruits and vegetables are grown, and tourism is important. On the outskirts are an airplane factory and a military airfield.
