Established: Authorized on October 26, 1974.
Location: Off MacArthur Blvd., adjacent to Glen Echo Park in Glen Echo, Maryland, several miles northwest of Washington, D.C. Accessible from the Capital Beltway (I-495).
Facilities: Bicycle trail, visitor center, museum/exhibit.
Activities: Guided tours.
Special Features: This 38-room home of the founder of the American Red Cross served as the organization's headquarters for 7 years (1897-1904) and as her place of residence for the last 15 years of her life (1897-1912).
