Clark Reservation State Park Location: South of Syracuse, off Route 173. From Buffalo-Rochester or NYC-Albany, exit 34A off I-90. Facilities: Picnic areas (é), picnic pavilions, playground, hiking trails, nature trail, nature center, exhibits. Activities: Fishing, hiking, birdwatching, guided nature walks. Special Features: Park's natural features include rugged cliffs, rocky outcrops, woodlands, meadows, wetlands, and a glacial plunge basin lake in which the surface waters and bottom waters do not mix. The park's cliff trail has a ledge overlook 175 feet above the water.
