Cleethorpes

Cleethorpes (klē`thôrps), town (1991 pop. 33,238), North East Lincolnshire, E central England, on the Humber River estuary. It is a popular resort, with many recreational facilities. The nearby Church of Old Clee was dedicated in 1192 by the bishop of Lincoln.
