CloudAudit

A directory structure from the Cloud Security Alliance that allows service providers to define their cloud computing infrastructure. Originally called "Automated Audit, Assertion, Assessment, and Assurance API" (A6), according to the CloudAudit website, CloudAudit is more a namespace and repository than a programming interface (API). The first five namespaces govern compliance and include PCI DSS, HIPAA, COBIT, ISO 27002 and NIST 800-53. For more information, visit www.cloudsecurityalliance.org. See cloud computing.
