Cloudland Canyon State Park


Location:On GA 136, 8 miles east of Trenton and I-59 and 18 miles west of Lafayette.
Facilities:73 tent/trailer/RV campsites, 30 walk-in sites, 11 backcountry sites, pioneer campground, 16 cottages, a group lodge that sleeps 40, 6 picnic shelters, 2 group shelters, hiking trails, tennis courts, gift shop.
Activities:Camping, hiking, tennis, disc golf.
Special Features:Located on the western edge of Lookout Mountain, the park straddles a deep gorge cut into the mountain by Sitton Gulch Creek. Spectacular views into the canyon can be seen from the picnic area and from the park's rim trail.
