2. A small lounge outside a legislative chamber where coats may be hung.
3. A room for checking packages or baggage, as in a theater, railway station, or airport.
4. (Brit.) A washroom and toilet.

A jacket and tie used to be so de rigueur at restaurants that dining rooms of all complexions kept a few in the coat check room to ensure that if some rube who didn?
Since you can't have a dance club without women, what about more seating, a coat check room big enough to handle both purses AND coats, abundant drink rails and plenty of the basics in the ladies rooms?
