Also found in: Wikipedia 0.07 sec.
(tool)Coco/R - A program by Hanspeter Moessenboeck <moessenboeck@ssw.uni-linz.ac.at> which generates recursive descent parsers and their associated scanners from attributed grammars (LL1). Coco/R can bootstrap itself to generate its own driver, parser, scanner and semantic evaluator from an attributed grammar included in the distribution.

Versions exist for generating Oberon, Modula-2, Pascal, C, and C++ source for MS-DOS and Unix. A Java implementation was planned.

Latest version: 1.34, as gf 1994-10-13.

Coco/R was ported to Modula-2 by Marc Brandis, Christof Brass, and Pat Terry.
