Area (sq mi): 654.57 (land 629.75; water 24.82). Pop per sq mi: 13.80. Pop 2005: 8,683. State rank: 46. Pop change: 2000-20005 -2.10%; 1990-2000 5.50%. Pop 2000: 8,865 (White 96.30%; Black or African American 0.20%; Hispanic or Latino 1.50%; Asian 0.30%; Other 2.40%). Foreign born: 0.80%. Median age: 39.20.
