a grayish yellow powder containing 70–90 percent finely dispersed elemental sulfur, 8–25 percent moisture, and a small amount of surface-active agents and filler. Colloidal sulfur is used in plant protection to combat fungal diseases, as well as harmful herbivorous mites and ticks.
