Location: Hamline Avenue and Midway Parkway in north-central Saint Paul. Take I-94 to the North Lexington Parkway, then turn north.
Facilities: Picnic areas, concessions, pavilion, pool, lake, boat launch, paddleboat rentals, trails, conservatory, Japanese garden, zoo, amusement rides, pony rides, playground, 18-hole golf course, miniature golf course, sports areas.
Activities: Boating (electric trolling motors), fishing, swimming, bicycling, golf, tennis, softball.
Special Features: Park was named after a lake in northern Italy on the Italian-Swiss border, an area famous for its beautiful lakes and forests. Park houses the Como Zoo, established in 1887.
