(Compuware Corporation, Detroit, MI, www.compuware.com) A leading provider of software and consulting services for building, testing and optimizing applications. Founded in 1973, it serves more than 90 percent of the world's Fortune 100 companies. Initially involved in mainframes, it since expanded to include client/server. In 2003, it released its now flagship product, Compuware Application Reliability Solution (CARS).
